Setup 2-factor authentication

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security, 2-factor authentication is now active on iZooto accounts.
Follow the steps outlined in this document to setup the same on your account. Please note that you can use either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator to scan the QR code.

Reset Password

We have updated our password policy to comply with the updated standards. Perform the steps mentioned below to continue using your account.

  • On the login screen, click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • Enter your email ID to receive instructions to reset your password.
  • Click on the link and set a new password for your account.
  • Login using your new password and setup 2-factor authentication for your account.

Troubleshooting

  1. After performing the Reset Password step, if the Google Authenticator shows 'Incorrect code', then:
  • Delete the existing iZooto account from the Authenticator app.

  • Hard refresh the QR code page shown on the iZooto panel.

  • Scan the QR code shown upon page refresh from your Authenticator app.

  • Add the 6-digit code.

  1. In case the problem continues even after completing the previous step, proceed with the following:

    Open Google Authenticator app ->Click on '☰' ->Go to Settings -> Click on 'Time Correction for codes' -> Select 'Sync Now'

Important points to consider when entering the authentication code:

  1. Please ensure that your phone's time is synchronized with Google's actual time to avoid receiving an incorrect code error.
  2. Make sure to enter the code promptly as soon as a new one is generated on your Authenticator app. Do not use the previous code that was visible before the code refresh.
